    yes true....
    Well if u use a factory HO cam... with a .444 lift with 1.6 rockers? so i could put on some 1.7 rockers and get .480 lift? does that sound right? That wouldnt be too bad.....

      I have a set of GT40 Heads for sale...for now they may be gone by the weekend..just figured id interject so you had that in mind. They are completely rebuilt and like new

              Definitely save your cam and converter money and buy those heads. You won't be sorry!

                    OLD SCHOOL, probobly crap...maybe a little better..they were starting to really hammer down on the emmisions that year... someone else might know better

                        do you have a way to look at the valves and the ports? or is it on a block? you could compare the sizes... yeah it probobly is a lil better, late 60's engine components were pretty good, no emmisions crap and cars were at peak power those years

                          they are on a complete motor i have... but if i remember right there isnt much emmitions stuff on there.. maybe a egr at the most

                                '74 is after they dropped compression ratios, so those will likely have huge combustion chambers and meager flow characteristics at best.
