I don't know where to put this.

What the FUCK is this thing? I don't ever remember even taking it off but it looks dead-on like it has something to do with the four bolts holding my brake booster/pedal assy together.

It has a long Ford part number on it and one side says TOP on what I'm assuming is the top.

There's also a small chunk missing. This doesn't go between the pedal assembly and the firewall on the interior, does it? It looks like it does, but I'm just putting the assembly back into the car and it's a tight squeeze just to get the assembly back in there. There is absolutely no room to squeeze that in between the assembly and the firewall. I'm wondering if that's because it doesn't go there, or if it's because something else is fucked.

    Thanks dudes!

Not that i have ever had the pedal assy apart on mine but that looks like a spacer to go between the firewall and the pedal mount.

The second pic is probably the side that goes towards the firewall through the insulation.

Yeah mine was all broke to fuck as well. I ended up just putting the bolt hole bushing parts back in with the bolts.

Wait, what? Does it go between the booster and the firewall or between the pedal assembly and firewall? On the interior or in the engine bay?

I forgot to ask - what does this do? Is it just a spacer? If my pedal assembly fits tightly without it is it going to change anything if I don't put it in??
