    backspacing?

    Do the 92-97 cars have the same backspacing as boxes?
    1989 Grand Marquis LS
    flat black, 650 double pumper, random cam, hei, stealth intake, Police front springs, Wagon rear, Police rear bar, wagon front ,exploder wheels, 205/60-15 fronts 275/60-15 rears, 1 5/8" headers, 2.5" offroad x pipe, Eclipse front bucket seats, Custom floor shifter, 4.10 gears, aluminum driveshaft and daily driven. 16.77@83mph

    For my understanding the back spacing is on the rim not the car! Onlu you have to worry about is if teh wheel ur gettin is hubcentric or not..

      Scott has 96 Towncar wheels on his 87 Vic. I think the offset changed in 03.

        i Know the backspacing is on the wheel. just didnt know if they carried it over to the newer cars.

          I think so, I ran the 16" steelies off of one on my 87 with no problems With the aluminum wheels, the centercap will be an issue on the front.
