    Hard miss when pulling hills

    Friends car, 5.0 merc.

    Like it's fuel starved...

    Changed fuel filter. seemed to help, but not perfect yet.

    Injector cleaner seemed to help, but still not perfect.

    Thoughts?

    fuel pump dieing? or check the timing and make sure its not a timing issue since it only happens under heavy load ie goin up a hill

      iac. mine would miss ad higher loads and speeds before i changed the iac after it failed completely. have you tried pulling trouble codes?
      '88 Colony Park, white with wood grain contact paper, K code axle, hose pliers on heater hoses, factory duals, big plans in the future...

      '83 Toyota 4x4, 31x10.50 15, could use a new carb, custom humidifying holes in the roof, mud based paint...
