Finally had the time and parts to do the control arm bushings in the back of my car today. Scott was nice enough to help me do the work. Turns out the book was wrong and I didn't look close enough under there so I was actually short some parts. Book said 1-3 sets of bushings required per car, I didn't bother to look very close under there so I just assumed the book was right. As usual, a mistake. Turns out I actually need 4 sets of bushings. We got 2 sets changed, the upper control arms that run from the frame to the carrier housing. Once I get another set of bushings, the lower arms will get new bushings done. I also might be needing a new set of springs in the back, but I want to unload all the shit from the trunk first and see how close to level it sits without any air in the shocks. If it still sags I guess I'll pick up some new springs and put in there when the rear bar and the other bushings go in. Kind of a shame because I actually had both springs out and in my hands today.
Overall the car feels a LOT better driving. The ass on that thing used to shake and jive like a fat bitch at a buffet, but now it actually holds course down the road without a lot of effort. I can still feel some slop back there, but its a hell of a lot better than before.
