What do I HAVE to remove in order to get the brake pedal assembly out of there? This is in a 1988 Town Car. I looked up underneath and it's a big old clusterfuck. I don't want to waste time by removing shit that doesn't need to be removed. Anyone have any tips?

That was the most pain in the ass part of my project. Basically everything you see needs to come out. All the brackets, wiring, steering column and I'm sure a few more things. Take lots of pictures as you go in case you don't remember how to put it back together.1984 CV tudor 351W, 4bbl, 5-speed best time in the 1/8 8.39 at 80 with 1.80 60ft time.

My tip would be take it slow and label anything you disconnect. Possibly just change the heater core while you are at it.~David~

my car starts and it has AC. Yours doesn't start and it has no AC. Seems obvious to me.
