    Intermittent Idling Issues

I have an occassional situation with the SEFI lopo 5.0L when it just hunts for an idle, nearly stalling in the process. I clean out the IAC and throttle body once a year, I have yet to do it this year. Also, the vacuum line is taped to the MAP sensor because the stock line was tapered to fit a larger port on the underside of the upper intake and a smaller size port on the MAP sensor. The tape is still tight. No smoke, just a crappy idle when it does its thing. This happened this afternoon on my way back from cleaning the car. Is this a TPS thing or just some wierd quirk?

I did a partial tune-up this winter with a plug, cap, rotor, and the bi-annual oil change. Perhaps I need to change the fuel filter.

check your tps voltage and reset your base idle..

sometimes it's just the nature of the beast
Give a man a fish and he will be fed for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will promptly forget that he once did not know, and proceed to call anyone who asks, a n00b and flame them on the boards for being stupid.
