I had been using a piece of pipe and an elbow as an extension for my oil pressure sender, but wanted to replace it with the actual ford piece before it ended up cracking on me, like i have heard they do. So finally got the ford piece like the one in the pic, but it hits the oil filter and wont screw in. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there 2 kind of extensions and i got the wrong one?

Never mind, figured it out, for whatever reason i was just putting it in at a funny angle... looked straight from where i was, but now its all in. There's actually about a quarter inch of room between the extension and the filter. After more looking there are 2 variations of that extension though, one is a little more narrow and has smaller threads.
So as usual, the problem was something stupidthanks anyways
