you dont have to.. the eec zero's out/reads the tps everytime you start it.Give a man a fish and he will be fed for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will promptly forget that he once did not know, and proceed to call anyone who asks, a n00b and flame them on the boards for being stupid.Comment

Don't have to, but its not a bad idea. Not really a bad idea to kill the power before messing with any of the electrics, but being as I'm lazy and brave, I never do. I do cut the power before messing with anything that could possibly make the motor start or crush my hands or something though.
