    bucket seats in the GMGT(S)

yep, installed a pair of buckets from a Mazda MX6 in my merk. $27 from the local junkyard. had to drill new holes, 3 on each seat went through the plates on the floor, 1 did not. slight pain in the ass, still needs to be adjusted, seats are leaning inward a lil. removed the factory belts, gonna add some sort of bar behind the seats, and 4 point street harnesses. more to do... but here ya go:

hole in the floor that i patched... was bad enough that my heel wore the carpet out. nothing a nice Ford Racing floor mat wont fix:

    lemme know what yall think.

Looks good. Looks like it really opens up the interior.

I like the side bolstering but not the color. Looks comfy and better support than my mitsu seats. Nice fire extinguisher.

those look damn good mang. Sorry about your carpet, seems wierd it doesn't have that rubber peice that is integrated into the carpet where your heel rests, like my towncar has.

who would have ever thought we would see side bolstered racing seats with 5-point harnesses in a box body...congratulations for thinking out of the box!!

my GM had that rubber mat built in too.
