Well, the carb arrived today. Nice looking unit

I have forgotten how big these damned things are though, it almost looks bigger than a holley with the float bowls and all!

We will, of course, require pictures.

Looks a lot bigger mounted on the manifold than it does in individual pics! The fuel bowls are indeed quite a bit bigger than production Holley models, aren't they? Must be considered necessary in case you need to jet it very rich or run at super-high RPM?

I've always thought dual fuel feeds looked ungainly, for some reason. Maybe it's my irrational sense of symmetry that wants to see lines routed either vertically or horizontally and not at 45 degree angles. I presume BG provides that nice inverted-flare supply line with adapters when you buy the carb?

The line came with it, yes. It even has a place for the fuel pressure gauge. Excellent!

I'm going to pull the fuel sump out of the tank of a carb'd panther the next time i'm at the yard. There's a few. Then, eventually i'll use a mechanical pump.

Ended up getting the tried and true MSD 6AL. Was on sale for 200 shipped from Jeg's, so I figured what the fuck? I like the MSD, it's a real easy install and they work great.
