Thus the reason you installed a Hi-6, I presume? I did some reading on different forums a couple weeks ago or so, and was unable to really find anything bad about the Crane ignition. Lots of differing stories about MSD, though.2012 Mazda5 Touring | Finally working on the LTD again!

I loved my 6AL. Anyways, I might be interested in buying that cable. Let me know.
I might explore other ignition options like the Mallory as well.

my car starts and it has AC. Yours doesn't start and it has no AC. Seems obvious to me.

Before you go spending money on a carb, hook up the tweecer and see what it has to tell you. You've already spent the money on the tool, may as well use it. If it needs a tune, I'd bet that you can find someone with a dyno to do the tune for a fair bit less than a carb will cost you. From a financial standpoint, it makes more sense to use what you already own and make it do what you want than spend a bunch of money and time going to a completely different fuel system.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
