Ok I got the dual exhuast on the vic but

The right cat gets cherry hot. I thought it could be a miss fire dumping fuel into the exhuast than making it burn cherry hot, than I thought maybe a clogged cat it also is dogging of the line bad... Whats your opions need your help here guys idk which way to turn.

Clogged cat, or you have fuel/air problems on that side. What's the back pressure on the tail pipes?

Glowing converter is a rich mixture, and/or a majorly clogged converter. If the converter broke apart, it could be clogging up the exhaust.

I know the smog pump, pumps air into the cats and thus cools it a bit. But i dont know if removing the smog pump will result in an overheated cat.

They didn't get damaged in any way did they? If the brick inside cracked loose, it will jam up the works.

Has your fuel economy majorly tanked lately? Any black smoke or funny idling? usually that would indicate a mixture problem. If none of that has changed, I'd have to think converter problem

removing the smog pump won't cause problems. I've been running without one for years now, never had a glowing converter.

The gas mileage has been a lower than usual i thought it was due to leaking exhaust I had before. But I dont think they are damaged. But I think I gunna replace them anyway I have 2 new ones around. But I dont want to put them on if its running bad.

Fix the problem first. Pull the plugs on that side and see if one is black. If it is, I'll bet you've got a bad injector. Could also be a bad vacuum leak causing it to do that.

How does the exhaust smell? And how long have you been running the car like this with the converter getting hot like that? You might kill the cat if you continue to run it like that.

Its a stock motor, there is only so much you're goiung to get out of it. Having the converters swapped probably won't do much for you. Gears will help a lot more if you've got a 2.73 rear.

yea, unless youve got enough motor to move exhaust efficiently out its not going to help. you need to keep a good exhaust velocity otherwise you will lose torque.

the exhaust setup you have right now is good for a stock motor. id leave the exhaust alone until you do further upgrades to the motor.
