what i was trying to get at is you dont need those fittings as long as the original isnt damaged where it connects to the fuel filter......the fitting has barbs on it that will hold high pressure rubber fuel hose.....the hose is around 6 dollars a foot, but it beats 26 bucks for that repair connector

Not that I doubt someone who's done lots of fuel systems, but which factory fitting is it you mean? The ones I'm picturing at the moment are the push-on-the-funky-hose-end-and-lock-it-with-the-plastic-tab sort.

They replaced the entire ( High Preassure side) line with High Preassure Nylon Both fittings and I had them put a new fuel filter on..(since it was due ton be replaced in a week or so)Comment

Not to be a buzzkill, but don't be too surprised if the return side doesn't hold up all that much longer. Actually its usually the return line that fails first, typically under the A pillar right under the pedals. Save your pennies

a trained monkey can put compression fittings together......get some 5/16" line and some compression fittings, and do it yourself
