    engine lights

whats the diffrence between the red and yellow check engine lights?

i assume the red is hooked up to really important things like water temp and oil pressure and the yellow is just all the other BS?

I'd worry if those lights came on....however, I'd shit my pants if these lights came on in the dash:

check it for codes, it should explain the yellow lamp. I was getting that out of my Mark VII, turned out to be a EGR valve with a leaky diaphragm. It could be a whole lot of things though, no way to tell without pulling the codes.
