Ok so lastnight i was sitting at a light and my car shut off and it will not start back up. i think my fuel pump is dead but iam not sure. It was fine started fine drove fine and then boom dead.

you need so see what part you are missing.......spark or fuel

it could be anything. turn your key to ON. don't crank it. turn it to the ON position. if you hear a buzzing that lasts about 1 full second then it's not your fuel pump. if you don't hear a buzzing it's your fuel pump or something related to it, like a fuel pump relay.Comment

well, there are a lot of things that will make a motor not run. Need to narrow it to the fuel system or the ignition system first. Without that, there is such a stupidly long list of possible things to check that its not really practical to post it all.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
