    Its just harder and more expensive to do it, especially since aftermarket isn't much of an option. He'd need factory casting intake manifolds, which is limiting. An EFI HO could be done for very little more than a stock replacement 302 engine, and it would take minimal effort to make it look stock. Also, a little considered tidbit, his car has computer controlled cruise. This won't work on a 351 car. It would need to be replaced with a stand-alone cruise brain, which involves some wiring work. A speed-density HO computer from a Mark VII will just plug in, retaining fully working factory cruise.

        An upgraded carb and intake will easily be hideen under the factory air cleaner. may want to grind the name off the intake, but that is easy enough.

        EFI 351 would not be authentic, which me thinks is his goal.
