So ive been reading around about the performance modifacation that can be done on a FI 302. What im looking for is about 300-350 hp. What would make this possible? I have no idea what this would give me but I would like to get a set of e7 heads or gt-40 or 40P's port and polish maybe mill them to increse compression, trick flow intakes, mild street cam, headers, a/c smog delete, stock, pistons, rods and crank. I have no idea what is possibe and what is logical. If any one could give me some insite that would be great thanks in advance. -Jason-

Think of this as a 3800 lb Mustang, and you're in the neighborhood. Anything you can do to a Mustang works fine on a Panther. Also I'll point you to the stickies, lots of info there86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

well heres a 347 kit on summit. ive thought of the same thing. you do this with a good cam and god heads you could get there. kinda depends on how much you want to spend.
could do a 408 stroker if you get your hands on a 351 block and get into the 400hp range. fitting a 427 in a box wont be easy. best to chose one of these. hell a 408 stroker with a blower would be crazy.
