starter solenoid
can anybody show me a picture of how the wiring on the starter solenoid goes?mine is on the fender well and i think i hooked it up wrong because everytime i hook the positive cable back up to the battery either a fuel pump sound comes on , and stays on until i take it off,or the starter cranks the motor like im jumping it.help please

heres a picture of how I setup mine. Lucky I just put these up recently because my car wasn't starting.
Starter wire goes by itself on the left terminal, as can be seen here, everything else, the right terminal, and finally the ignition sensor L-shaped wire goes to the top terminal.

If there are more than one small terminals on the solenoid, and you only have one small wire in the harness, it goes on the S terminal.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
