    H20 injection installed

I got the water injection installed on my car.

I mounted it between the headlights and the battery. Plenty of empty space there. As you can see, I used a glass mason jar lol. Later I will get a heavy duty plastic bottle to replace it. I just wanted to see if this thing is gonna work or not. You can see the blue air stone thingy at the bottem of the jar.

I had a lot of this plastic pipe sitting around, and decided to use it for the vacuum line. It works pretty good. I heated the end of the pipe with a lighter, and while the plastic was elastic (hey, that rhymes!) I shoved the nipple of a plastic elbow fitting in there. When it cooled, I got a leak free connection! I started the car up, it bubbles! Ewww, that pic is shitty.

We will see if this ghetto setup actually works or not. More to come!

BTW, there is vacuum present at the ported vacuum at idle. It's not that much, but is this normal?

What is the purpose on a naturally aspirated engine? Wouldn't trickling water down the carb or throttle body accomplish the same cleaning?

Post any improvements you get. My gas milage varies more than 6% fillup to fillup so I would be leary of the claimed 6% gas milage gain. My ecotec's gas milage takes a dump in the winter. Barely 400 miles to the tank. It gets closer to 450 in the summer.

                    Will do!

The last trip I went on with GL (500+ miles roundtrip) I got 16 MPG solid. I would like to do a hell of a lot better than that. Course, that was before I readjusted the carb too.

If you are going to try this, disregard what the diagram shows on that website. If you are going to plumb the cannister in with a vacuum source that runs something, that valve is going to cut down on the vacuum to the origional item (vac advance, etc.) instead, plumb it UNDER the "T" that you put in, so that it only cuts vacuum to the cannister.
