yea they have more, they have that 5.0 mountaineer. They say right on them GT40P, on the upper part of the head.but the only reason im getting these cheap is because i got a 8'' rear from them and it was broke, so we're tradin straight across, but normally their $100 for a pair, $15 for manifolds. im guessin u might want the pair ??? lol

I'm sure someone will .... $100 sounds like a decent price, too.

Remind me again where you're located?

"Regular" GT40s are harder to come by these days. "Aren't as good" is relative to what you are doing. The GT40P advantage dissappears as soon as you start porting. If they are going on a 351 or you are using a power adder, I would personally choose GT40 over the Ps. GT40s ARE worth more money than Ps.

i dont really care which is more expensive i just want the ones that would make the most power and be the most bang for the buck.

Ah. Well, best bang for the buck without porting is the GTP, especially at that price. Take those heads you found at the 'yard and get a stock valvejob and you're good to go.

Mercracer, I've seen (obviously) what can be done with ported E7s (i.e. BHP, Thumper); do you have any references for what can be done with ported F3s? I do have an extra set of cores, and if I can ever figure out how to fix this one spark plug hole that's buggered, it'd be a lot of fun to see what they can do ported.
