i noticed tonite(never really paid attentiontion before, because when you're driving you kind of glance at the gauge) my temp gauge never goes beyond a 1/4 of the way beyond the normal mark. in other words it's not even coming close to overheating and it doesn't really deviate from that spot. i think my thermostat is poof.

my friend had an electric one floating around and we temp. hooked it up earlier today. we took temps at idle and reved it at about 2500, and none of the measurements seemed out of the ordinary. iirc at rev after 5min it was barely pushing 195 so i think i'm all set for npow.Save a seal, club a liberal.
