    tranny adjustment

    the next problem:

i think the shift linkage is damaged somewhere.
its because when i turn the lever to P (and the lever is in the upperst position) the tranny is in reverse, when it is in R, the tranny is in Neutral and so on...

can it be, that the shift linkage has an adjustment screw or something like that...
the linkage itself is installed as before...

Usually what happens is the plastic cracks and throws the thing off. Fasten it back together with a zip tie and you'll be ok. If its not broken, loosen the screw a little so you can rotate it to get the indicator correct.
    search and you will find.

Are you saying that you physically do not have park or that the gear indicator is off? The actual gear linkage adjustment shouldn't be under the dash...

The piece under the dash just adjusts the pointer. If the lever is all the way up, and the trans is in reverse, you'll have to adjust it under the hood. Near the brake booster, you'll find a flat lever stcking out from the steering shaft and it attatches to a rod that goes down toward the trans. Where these hook together is a locking bolt thing. Loosen the bolt, and pull up on the rod to shift the trans into park. Tighten the bolt back up and you should be good to go.
