anything that crates sludge in the engine is a bad thing eventually. Oil is supposed to carry crud away to be filtered out by the oil filter.

Interesting. I would go through a quart of oil every 1400-1600 miles.. I was using valvoline 10w 40 with a quart of lucas. I will stay away from Quker State. I am just going to go back to Catrol GTW High mileage 10-w-40 all 5 qts. Mark off full on that screwed up dipstick and go from there"To Find yourself, you must first lose yourself"
