Today my 91 GM experienced a tranny problem. It is not shifting properly. Only after the revs are high will it shift gears but really clunks into gear. The fluid is good and clean. Just had a service a few months ago. Am I looking at a major repair here or would it be just an adjustment? Thanks for your input...

The tv cable did brake off and got jammed. As soon as I knew there was a problem, I parked the car at home. My friend is going to replace the tv cable for me in the next few days. I didn't have to drive very far to get home so I'm hoping there is no more unseen damage. Thanks for your help guy's. H.1991 Grey Grand Marquis LS Sedan

I did replace the grommet with a brass one a while back and the cable looked ok then but with a 14 year old box I guess you have to expect a lot of ware.1991 Grey Grand Marquis LS Sedan
