    Looking for info on Heads

Anyone know of a know-it-all guide to small block heads? Specifically GT-40 heads vs D8 (78) heads vs stock E-7's. I've already got the e-7's but trying to really begin my rebiuld on the 351 to get this damn motor in the car!

    Thanks,
    B.J.
Lucy, my LX Sport is getting a nose-job!

Who wants to help me rebuild a 351 and stick it in the Merc? On hold a little longr...

D8 heads have largest chambers, E7 heads and Explorer GT-40 heads are around 64-65CC's. GT-40P heads have 60CC chambers. GT-40(P) heads have superior factory ports. The E7 and D8 heads need porting and valve work to flow as much as any GT-40 out of the box.
