        Motor looks great mang! Glad to see you used new bolts on the intake and loomed the spark plug wires. props for that.

          Don't worry; you'll get more out of a cam swap if it happens along with upgraded heads anyway. For now, you should have a very drivable combo that should also be very reliable.

            ya but i just figuered out the mpg and its around 9.5 that sucks. and we got a floor shifter out of a mark-7 hooked up today

                  GM HEI is far simpler, and (arguably) better than Ford Durapsark...

                    They sell those distributors on ebay. They're decent, and work every bit as well as a Dspark but without the wiring. For a mild motor, GM HEI is perfectly acceptable, as long as you're not a purist that insists on only Ford parts on the Ford.

                        if you oredered the one from ebay thats what i did and it took like 3 weeks to get it i sent him a couple pissed off messages that i wanted it now got no response and it just showed up one day. The thing that pissed me off the most is i ordered the one with the red coil and they sent me the one with the black coil

                          That's just about what I'm expecting ... this guy will be getting feedback comments about lack of communication and slow shipping if that happens.

                          Wonder if it's from the same vendor ... the seller on my item calls himself "fatrodder".

                            yep thats the same guy i got mine from the wait sucks but its beter than paying twice that price at a parts store
