That filter looks kind of small. Might want to upgrade to a bigger one.

Ha, that's just the place where I have my diesel suck air from - right behind the fan shroud so no hot air, and pointing down to use the cold air rammed through under the radiator. You may wanna throw some shield around the filter towards the power steering pump, just to minimize engine heat effect.

What I did was I made a hole just big enough to fit a pipe though and I had it right behind the bumper...The next one i make will use the factory air box as a filter and it will have a scoop in order to get the real ram air affect. I'm also going to wrap the pipe in a heat reflective material...

This is going on my 1999....in order to get full benefit from it I'll have to get a marauder maf and tune

Huh, that works. When I first eliminated my stock airbox, I was also in a big hurry to have that bracket gone too, so it was (obviously) no longer available to support stuff.

What's the PA/siren looking thing in front of the vacuum reserve canister?

Ooooh ... right. I keep forgetting that some people have alarms on their cars. And logically, the siren has to be mounted somewhere!
