Ford 3.8 Eaton M90 Supercharger to 5.0 retrofit?

I heard that the blowr from a 3.8 thunderbird suprcoupe can be retrofitted to a 5.0? has anyone hear heard of this or know where i can get info on doing it? id love to giver a try on my towncar if it can be done.

man if its possible i feel like a dumbass, last summer a tb sc came in and i was debating on wether or not to buy the blower. it looked new, no play, spun freely... so i stashed the s/c in the trunk of the towncar next to it. and it was gone sometime later.

Well, I aint heard of anybody doing it, but I've sure contemplated it.

The best thing that I could think of was using the SC throttle body and the tubing to the Supercharger. Flip the super charger over and bolt it onto a 302 4 barrel carb intake manifold. Sounds like it would work, but I aint tried it either.

The other idea is to just mount it opposite side the motor of the power steering pump. There should be enough room there to just mount the sucker up and just run lots of tubing to your existing throttle body, and get a release valve.

The reason I've thought about this so much is because they go on Ebay for $100-$200, which is a damn good deal on a supercharger; even if you gotta change the bearings. Just a month ago, I saw a freshly rebuilt and ported heavily one sell for just $187, w/ the throttle body to match the porting.

It's been done both ways mentioned above, but you'd have to build the brackets, adapters, etc yourself....
