But assembling it yourself is so much more fun! Plus you only have to worry about transporting the bare block, not the assembled engine - the components alone you don't even need a lift for, since nothing weighs more than maybe 140 pounds.

true, I carried the block twice. Once past my boss' Mark VIII between it and the lift post (yay for people who jam so much shit into a place that its impossible to get around), and once out of the trunk of Scott's Tbird.
