    bored EGR on lopo

I found a place that can bore the lopo EGR spacer for me, but I'm not in the mood to get ripped off by the local salvage yard just to buy an extra lopo spacer to take to the shop.

I was planning on just pulling the lopo EGR spacer off of the '91 and taking that in to get bored out. However, I won't have time until this summer to do the HO conversion to the '91.

Can I run a bored EGR spacer between the lopo TB and upper intake until I do the full conversion? Can I get away with the lopo gaskets (new, of course)? Will there be a threat of air leakage? Coolant lines are already bypassed.

I wouldn't use a bored spacer with a stock throttle body and upper intake. The size transitions between throttle body > egr > intake wouldn't do you any favors for performance. If you want to do an HO upper and HO throttle body on the stock engine, it'll work just peachy though.

I'm not looking for any performance. I won't get to doing the HO conversion until summer, I have a guy that will bore a spacer for me now. I don't want to spend money at the salvage yard for a spacer.

I have all the HO parts except the spacer. Yeah, toss me a lopo spacer and I'll get it bored here. Thanks, man. I appreciate it. Could toss that speedo gear in the box, too. *wink wink*

the older HOs ran the LOPO upper with a 60mm TB and 60MM EGR sacer. In have a bored spacer still. Also have a 50 TB. Running the LOPO TB shouldnt hurt anything either.
