Well if you're keeping an old section of pipe, you could make it look cool by canning it all in high heat flat black... except the glasspacks of course, lol.

just wondering about those counter weight things that were bolted on where the old y pipe connected. Do i need them?
When my exhaust was replaced with a custom cat back, the shop removed those weights. Now the exhaust is all cracked and broken. That could be do to inferior hangers, but also due to the lack of vibration damping. I'd leave them to be safe.

those things are vibration dampers to reduce/remove drone. removing them won't hurt anything as long as the pipes are properly supported, but leaving them in place won't hurt anything either.

Question: my cherrybombs , i was hoping the ends would be designed to match the OE muffler offset/centered. theyre not.
So is this gonna throw everything off to the right behind the mufflers with factory bent pipes?
Really love the cherrybombs so is there a way i can remedy this in the driveway to line up or am i gonna have to just get different mufflers?
Sorry for all the questions , but appreciate the education. Thanks, Bill
You can't use center inlet/outlet mufflers with the rest of the exhaust remaining unchaged. You may be able to fudge something together to work (using some other custom exhaust pieces). However, they do make direct fit glasspacks (with the correct offset) for these cars. I had a set at one time, and my brother also bought a set. I'll see if I can find you a link.
Edit: Here's the link with the different offsets available. These are even Cherry Bombs too.
so would probably make the most sense to mount it all up except for actually inserting mufflers into tailpipes, and then take it to a shop , and let em bend and weld a couple of problem solvers. shouldn't charge too much.
thanks.
together, it looks like they will already reach the back of the wheel and no way i'm cutting up a brand new H pipe. So....
I think they would look better coming out behind the wheel than straight out the back but thats just me. Maybe some nice tips will set it off right .
Thanks for all yalls help. i will soon post some pics of her!
Hmmm... I think behind the wheel would look better than all the way out the back... maybe run them 45 degrees, straight cut?
