how do you adjust those? Someone on the Bronco site suggested tis done through the vacuum modulator, there's supposed be a screw inside it that's accessible through the vacuum hose port - turning said screw clockwise raises part-throttle shift points, and turning counter-clockwise lowers them. Can someone please confirm that? As it stands right now I have the damn truck try to go into 2nd at like 5mph and in 3rd at less than 20mph, which is waaay too low for regular driving, I'd like something more like 1-2 at 15 and 2-3 at 35 or so, that worked real nice in the Lincoln.

Hi MelikeyStripperChicks
Yep the shifts are controlled by a vacuum modulator but I didn't think they were adjustable, maybe they were once but have been "improved".

So will a late '70s C6 have an adjustable modulator? I tried inserting a screwdriver in there, and it did seem like it caught on something slotted, but the trans mount is getting in my way and I don't have a shorter screwdriver yet (will next week tho). A shift kit will be installed eventually too, I did it with the Townie AOD and been very happy ever since.
