    Exhaust

2 1/4" pipes and summit performance mufflers and no cats. It's louder than I expected, hopefully it won't wake the neighbors when I go to work at 5:30 am!

            I like it.

Tail pipes might quiet it down a bit, at least inside the car if you don't have them.

Now that the exhaust is "beefier" the damn turbines don't fit with the exhaust sound, which kinda sucks, cuz I like the turbines. I might get some different wheels.

Eventually I'll hang new exhaust under my car. It needs it for sure. I also want to pick up some turbines, and plan to keep them with the good exhaust.

mmmmmmmmmm white letters! I will probably keep the turbines, I was just having doubts. I still need to get the tips on, because the exhaust is dumping just in front of the rear axle.

I need to get another box. My capri is currently only running a 2.5 inch offroad h pipe. I got a full flowmaster system in the shed i took off cause it was too quiet. I bet that exhaust sounds nice. How much did it cost you

Lets see, the summit mufflers were $14 each, plus two 4 foot pieces of 2 1/4" exhaust pipe at $9.95 each, plus various hardware. I ordered the pipe and mufflers on summits website, seeing as how Napa always fucks up when they cut the pipe, thier blade is dull or somethin, and leaves a bunch of melted metal on the ends.

All in all, it was about $70 for everything.

When I went to work today, I stopped at a stop sign, then started going again, I got to about 10 MPH, then floored it. The rear tires broke loose a little at the 1-2 shift at WOT. It never did that before. GL has a lot more pep now. I want to get a B&M shift improvement kit for the AOD too.

You might want to get those tail pipes made, I took both of mine off and it seemed to weeken my power. Depends on everything on the car though so it could work the other way for you. And adding the tailpipe would for sure quiet it down a bit. Makes about three times as much noise inside my car without them, and twice as much outside.

I don't know what state you're in but here in VA its ellegal to have the exhause dump before the rear axle. Luckly I don't have to worry about those dang inspections though.
