      windshield washers

"Windshield washers are NOT required equipment.... Just windshield wipers."

I beg to differ here. Windshield wipers with washers, windshield defrosters, back up lights, and front seat lap belts became Federally Mandated required equipment on all autos starting with the 1966 model year. Each year thereafter added more and more required 'safety' equipment until we are where we are today.

"( or look it up on the web under traffic laws for the State of Florida?)"

Got a web address for this? I drive a big rig and we have a constant discussion about what is legal and what is not about traffic laws. Would LOVE to have a copy to refer to.
Speed cost....how fast u wanna go??

It's not how much hp u have...
It's how much hp u can put to the track...

Let's seperate the men from the boys and put that power to the track using street tires and stock suspension components

'Tis infinately better to sit quietly and be thought a fool,
than to speak and remove all doubt.

I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person.

        OK.. last statement reference this....

I stand corrected.... However, Winshield washer nozzles that are red or blue are still illegal.. and are removed with a 15 day warning ticket to repair before that 15 days are up. There is a section in the Federal motor vehicle standards that address these after market parts. ANY part that does not meet the federal standards, are illegal... remember the white tailights??

        S4.2 Windshield washing system.

S4.2.1Each passenger car shall have a windshield washing system that meets the requirements of SAE Recommended Practice J942, "Passenger Car Windshield Washer Systems," November 1965, except that the reference to "the effective wipe pattern defined in SAE J903, paragraph 3.1.2" in paragraph 3.1 of SAE Recommended Practice J942 shall be deleted and "the areas established in accordance with subparagraph S4.1.2.1 of Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 104" shall be inserted in lieu thereof.

When I was pulled over for speeding in my old car, he gave me a ticket for 300, 200 for speeding and 100 for blue lights. I had mirror turn signal flashers made out of blue leds. I contested, they droped how fast I was going and the blue light thing all together and I only paid $50. At least you didn't get written up. Just use blue LEDs with a switch and they can't tell what color they are, they are clear.
