    PCV Hose Routing

    Hi,
on my 91 GM (5.0), the PCV hose seems to originate out from under the middle of the intake manifold, then to a tee on the pass.-side rear of the manifold, and then finally go to the PCV valve at the back.

    My question is:
Wouldn't it be better just to run it from the PCV valve straight to the center of the intake manifold, bypassing that tee?

    Thanks in advance.

Where does the other side of the tee go?

The tee threads into one corner of the upper manifold. One side goes to the PCV valve, the other side goes to the middle of the upper manifold. I believe it was done to more evenly distribute the gasses from the pcv system or something.
