    f4 truck block

the f4 blocks have the explorer cam correct
say i was to harvest a f4 longblock and i dropped it in one of my beater vics and used a gt40 lower and an explorer upper and a 65mm throttle body
would it run with speed density and 19 lb injectors?

2006 Lincoln Town Car Signature. Stock for now
1989 Ford F-250 4x4 much much more to come, sefi converted so far.
1986 Toyota pickup with LSC wheels and 225/60/16 tires.
2008 Hyundai Elantra future Revcon toad
1987 TriBurner and 1986 Alaska stokers keeping me warm. (and some pesky oil heat)

So still no one has done this? I'd be real tempted to give it a try myself... especially if I already had most of the parts laying around.

Why not just harvest the harness & computer with the engine? Couldn't add that much more cost if its from the junkyard.

Look into pickup/bronco engine mods and see how well they run. Fullsizebronco.com has a good forum.

Wasn't that motor batch-fire from the factory like the truck 302s? If so, I imagine part of the idea would be to have SEFI ...

I don't know if the mass air trucks were batch or sefi. I know it changed in 94 or so with the cam and all.

Mustang Speed Density computer with a chip? Why not do a MAF conversion? Only a couple of more wires.....

Should work might help to have adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Playing aroud with the timing a bit. Cant be any worse than my set up.
