    1985 Town Car

I just picked up a 1985 Town Car yesterday for $450. It's about the same color as my LTD, dark red leather seats, floors are beautiful, rocker panels are crazy good. I will get some pics up tomorrow, I wish I could drive it right now, but I need to get temp plates etc.

The only thing I really notice that actually NEEDS to be replaced is the valve cover gaskets, which will be nothing.

It has new tires (about 5k on them) and a new battery, there goes about $500 there itself.

I will get some pics tomorrow.

Hm, looks like a Signature with the early style non-adjustable headrests. Not bad for 450. How's it run?

Runs decent, drivers side valve cover gasket leaks like crazy. I will be getting those tomorrow, along with some other crap.

Also tomorrow, I will take pics of floors.

Nice! That's a really bold red... now all you have to do is dye the vinyl top white and you got yourself a pimpmobile.

A lot of little things I need to do to this car before I drive it, the battery is screwed, I can't find the date sticker on the battery, (havn't taken it out yet). As soon as I find that sticker hopefully I can take it in for warrenty. Who makes WeatherCraft bats? It's f*cking cold outside too!

                    Some trunk area shots...

Buy an Interstate battery. I've never had a bad one.

It looks like my car underneath, you can still see the gray primer/ paint from the factory. Not all rusty. Its really nice.
