50 oz. Remember, you don't have kickdown linkage. You have TV linkage. It needs to move any time the throttle lever moves. How many different threads are you going to title rear end and ask the same questions?

I am just curious as to how long that cheap AOD is going to hold up.

I'm confused. So you need a rear end? Or are you more interesting in beefing your current rear?

Any '79-'91 Ford/Mercury Panther or '80-'89 Lincoln Panther is a direct swap. '79-'82 came with either a 7.5 or 8.5 rear, while '83+ were 8.8, but they all bolt in place of each other. The 7.5 is the weakest of the bunch, while the 8.8 is the strongest.
