sorry guys, Got it running I'd rather not share the source of my problems since it is one of the basic rules of things to check when it won't start. I left my buddies after I got it fired and haven't been near a computer since. Thanks a lot for all of the help. Hey, just glad you're getting the thing home again. Reminds me of the time I was getting ready to tear the car apart looking for problems when it turned out I was out of gas. And what's worse, I thought my mom was nuts when she asked me if I had gas. Poured some in and it started right up! :nonono:2012 Mazda5 Touring | Finally working on the LTD again!

Glad to hear you got it going. Whatever the problem was, don't feel too bad. I rebuilt the carb on my air compressor this morning because it wouldn't start, only to realize the pickup on it is to short. It leaves about an inch of gas in the bottom of the tank.:headsmack: Oh well it needed a good cleaning anyway.Owner of the only known 5 speed box wagon with a lift kit.

You know that the guessing is going to be worse than whatever your problem was..... everyone was willing to help when you had a problem, so you should just man up to it dude......

Oh I know but the guessing is always fun to read, I had no spark. Coil wire wasn't fully seated on the coil... After pulling the distributor and messing with it forever.Resident diesel addictComment

Man i swear I checked every wire 20 times but we hooked the spark light up and nothing pressed down on the wires, the end on the coild and bam it lit up. Car fired, after pulling the distributor countless times it was in right, way off time. So we timed it set it 10 atc and I got the hell outa there before my other half took my balls of with a spoon.Resident diesel addictComment
