    H.O. ????

If I get a mustang H.O. in my GM will my air filter be on the passenger side? I noticed that the mustangs intakes are switched around. How will that work?

No it won't work. One reason because the AC plumbing will be in the way. Another reason would be the way youre throttle is set up. Just flip the upper intake around.

you flip the intake around so the air intake is on the drivers side.

You have to flip the Intake around to face the other direction, like in a stock vic. Easy to do, but requires some modifications, like having a lopo egr spacer bored out to match the h.o tb and upper intake. Thats the biggest problem with the intake. You also have to swap the throttle levers on the bottom of the throttle bodys. Grind the H.O and Lopo ones off then either weld or somehow attach the lopo lever to the H.O tb. I welded mine. Check out the H.O conversion tips and tricks thread made by mrltd, it is qite helpful.

Yeah, that'll will answer any questions that you may have if you should choose to drop an HO in the Gm. BTW, how goes your interior conversion?

yes the engine will drop right in......you need to use stock accys, get the stock egr spacer bored out to 63mm and swap throttle levers with the ho throttle body.
you will also need the ecm from the ho donor car.....if it's a mass air ecm you need to wire in a maf harness

engine will swap out. even a 5.0 HO from an Explorer from like 1997 would werk if i remember. keep all brackets to remount everything in stock locations, flip the upper intake/plenum to be mounted as it was stock, bore out the EGR spacer, and switch ECU/compter/brain.
