My 1991 Crown Vic 351w-2bbl is a bit unresponsive in the throttle, I am buying a new timing chain, so I know thats part of the problem, I am wondering since its a carb if it has the infamous little bastard sensor on the exhaust, and ANY other sneaky bastards I might need to change, an if it DOES have a sensor will it improve my MPG's?

Oh wait, your car has been converted to a regular 2bbl instead of the VV, hasn't it? In that case teh O2 sensor isn't doing anything...but has it been converted to the older style Duraspark so that the computer isn't trying to control a carb that isn't there? That will probably make a difference.

I really, honestlt DONT KNOW lol, My dad's the real mechanic here, he only gets to help me like 1-3 days a MONTH, so i pick wisely on what i work on w/ him..lol What am I lookin for first off, second of all how can I eliminate the problem?
