    Everything else is the same.

    I noticed the crack,it is only on the surface.Since I don't run EGR/Coolant,I'm actually planning on filling the hollow side voids of this spacer with aluminum to make it one solid piece,and then having it bored out to 70mm,for my future gt-40 engine.

      some spacers have the channel, some dont. the stock spacer on both my 88 MGM and 89 CV lx did NOT have the channel. its not a big deal, just mill the spacer flat and get rid of the channel.

                  Never looked at a later one, both of the ones that were on my car have been 1986 parts. Mine now has that air bleed groove filled with RTV to keep the idle right. I've also observed that some throttle plates lave larger holes than others. I'm guessing the larger hole throttle plates came on cars without the groove or something. It does make more sense to make the throttle plate hole bigger so it sucks filtered air vs unfiltered from the engine compartment I suppose.

                      here ya go, this is actually the one from my car. Notice the groove with the bit of red RTV in it.

                      actually if you look at the stock Panther spacer there, it has no groove. Not a clue what year that one came from. The bored one from my car is off an 86.

                        Everyone I have ever pulled before this one (86-91) CV's/GM's/TC's all had the air bleed groove in the spacer.This one struck me,as it was the first I had ever seen without it.I've pulled probably around 10 different spacers thus far.Eather way,I'm glad this one doesn't have it,one less thing to deal with.

                          as I said, mine didn't have it either, which is why it went into Dave's parts pile - easier to bore for HO applications
