I been to the MGS a few times up there at the sportsmans club... IDK, it seems to me like it would be more fun to shoot than watch. I actually gotta get a free day to head up there. My .30-30's been aching to be fired. I just recently painted the syntheti stocks and stuffed it with expanding foam stuff.

NFA firearms are pricey though, you can pick up a MAC11/nine for ~$2,400.00 ; An M-16A1 for $12,000.00 ; All the way up to $200,000.00+ for a Mini Gun.
The limiting factor is all "transferable" Class 3 full auto firearms MUST BE MANUFACTURED BEFORE 1986!
So as they wear out or "break", the quantities go down, and the price goes up.
To put it in perspective, we picked up the M16 in '94 for $1,100.00, and a MAC11/nine in '97 for $800.00.
It's one of the few things you can buy that goes up in value even if you use it.
SBRs, SBSs, and Suppressors can be current production.

Guns are good.
Anyways, if you are in Florida, Two bottles of water wetter and the rest water will be GREAT for cooling! I ran that combo in GMGT all the time I was in FL.
However, I changed over when I made the trek north...1983 Grand Marquis 2Dr Sedan "Mercules"

Next time I'm in the parts store I'll pick some up, along with a bottle of flush.
I'm thinking the shuddering I have under throttle is a tranny problem. The shudder is really bad and frequent only whn I'm in overdrive. Drop it in to drive and it still happens, but only once in a while, and it's barely noticable. Prolly just the cable in dire need of adjustment. Fluid is fine, clean and at optimum fill. Somone also mentioned it might be a mount starting to go.Straight sixes make me randy...:smirk:

Last transmission-related shudder I experienced was the thing slipping badly and needing to be rebuilt ...... installing a fresh tranny cured the problem. :p Could be driveshaft or gear or axle related if it happens only with the car in motion, though. One slight side-to-side shudder I put up with for a while turned out to be caused by out-of-true rims (easy to tell on the balancing machine). Installed new wheels and tires and it went away.2012 Mazda5 Touring | Finally working on the LTD again!

Well, I ruled out a tranny problem. Now it happens whenever, and she threatens to stall out all the time.
I learned she's running rich as a bavarian chocolate cake. When I give it gas from idle, she's the same amount of gas she used to, but no air, and the engine threatens to flood. It's like the butterfly valve on the tb isn't opening. I'm gonna try futzing around with the throttle cable. Maybe there's just too much slack it it and it's not opening in proportion to the fuel flow.Straight sixes make me randy...:smirk:

Or possibly the throttle position sensor is miscalibrated? That could cause the computer to think you're more into the gas than you are. Lots of other possibilities, though - for example, have you checked your oxygen sensors lately?2012 Mazda5 Touring | Finally working on the LTD again!

Your MAP sensor is either unplugged, vacuum line cracked, or broken after you did your work on the car, such as cracking the case of the MAP sensor when tugging on it, or lifting the upper intake off of it....
Either that, or you have dead flying squirrels jammed into intake ports #4 and #7, blocking both of those off.

Dead flying Squirrels? Not Likely. My brother though has a long and colorful history involving regular tree rats and the wiring in his truck. Last january was the eighth time the little bastards ate up the wiring harness.
Ok, I'm shotgun de bugging things. I disco'd the cruise cable and that helped for some reason (cruise control wasn't on). I upped the idle a bit and that got rid of the shuddering and sputtering while I'm moving.
But now when she warms up a bit, I come to a dead stop or almost a dead stop then get back on the gas it sputters real bad and sounds like it stalled. Then it jumps back to normal and the rpm's match the amount of pedal I'm giving it.
I still havn't gotten around to testing for a vaccum leak, havn't got the time.Straight sixes make me randy...:smirk:
