Ok, so i cured the knocking, and the stalling problem in the 4 door, but about a week and a half ago on my way to work it ran fine, then i went out for lunch and it idel'd very rough, and has ever since that day, i have changed the carb, with the one from the 2 door, i changed the coil, checked the cap and rotar and they are fine, changed the duraspark box , all the spark plugs look fine, have no deposits on them and dont even look worn, it almost seems like a vaccume leak but i cant here it or see one, but when you turn the car off, and if you unplug the "Tomato juice can" there is no vacumme being held in it at all, unlike my 2 door if i unplug it u here a hiss, so i dont know, all my vaccume lines are connected and in good shape, egr valve look's newer, i havent done a compression test yet, but i dont think it would be that, any ideas?

If the soup can doesn't hold vacuum, either its leaking or the check valve is shot. Might want to check the soup can, they do tend to rot around the crimps.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
