    Trans Problem?

For some reason, my AOD is making this high pitched whining sound. It has done this since I have owned it, so it didn't come about after my carb swap. It does it constantly, whether hot or cold, and the pitch of the whine increases with RPM's. Could there be something wrong? It shifts fine, no slippage or anything. Any suggestions?

i was told once when i had the car that it was common with the older aod's.......if it shifts fine and the fluid isnt burnt to a crisp, i wouldnt worry about it too much
