But how much is it when you figure in the shipping and handling costs?

S/H from those people is retarded. I think they're in Texas. I bought a boot for my dist from them. I think it was $14 to ship it.

I got a PACK of the brass bushings for a couple of dollars right from the local Ford dealership...... I can't see how paying for shipping to save a dollar or two on the cost of the item itself could be even close to being cheaper........... Unless it's free shipping

              You would think so.

I inquired about one at my local trans. shop, and they had no idea what I was talking about.

One of the guys at the place went as far as saying "They don't make a brass one, just a plastic one"

I'd love to have one of those... I went looking for a new plastic bushing and was told I needed to buy the whole kickdown cable assembly to get a new bushing for a cost of $120 at the Ford dealer in Corner Brook. I ended up replacing it with a rubber grommet.

Weird...when I went to the Ford dealer, they had to order it, but they were able to get it. Might help if you give 'em the part number: F3SZ-7H303-B

Teamfordparts is a great source for parts. The guy there Bill, even does a part locater search if they don't carry what you need. I could spend a lot of money there. The only thing I dislike in the interface because sometimes they don't give great descriptions or part #'s in the shopping cart. I use the Motorcraft catalog (using VIN) part #'s to find what I need quickly.
