    idling crappiness

Sorry to bug you guys again, but I'm at a dead end with very similar problems to the ones i had a while back when I posted.

My standard '85 CV idles for shit, and the stalling at low RPM's is ridiculous. I replaced my TFI module, distributor, ignition coil, plugs (gapped at .50), plug wires, fuel filter, ECU, thermostat, engine coolant temp sensor (the car was running a tad hot... that's fixed now), and O2 sensors, while adjusting my timing back to the 10 BTDC it oughtta be at. Still, it can't idle worth a shit. Stalls and dies at low end, and pours black smoke out the muffler. My cats and muffler clogged due to this, so i replaced them, too, although with the embarrassing stock single exhaust. Can't seem to make any progress with a terribly rich mixture, either. Anything I should check that tends to be a common issue that deals with low end stalling?

    Thanks in advance.

Check the vac line at the MAP sensor along with the sensor itself. IIRC, when they go bad they go bad in a direction that causes your car to run rich...

fuel filter, pump, regulator also can cause issues. Same with a stuck injector.

I'm also going to go with vacuum problem or bad MAP. They don't fail all that often though, so a cracked line is more likely.
