    No power to coil?

Ok, in dealing with my ongoing no start condition, I just verified that there's no power going to the coil in my Turd. What are some possible causes of this? Someone told me it may be the TFI, or it may be the ignition control module. Any thoughts or input would be greatly appreciated.

You get power to your coil + from your ignition switch.
      Does everything else have power?

Everything else has power. I used a voltmeter and put the positive on the red wire and the neg. on the inner fender as a ground, with the ignition in the "on" position. That's the correct way to test it, right?

The inner fender is plastic. Use a good ground on the engine or a good body ground.

It's probabaly the connector on top of the coil, the one with the red and green wires. Most likely corrosion in the connector or in the wires close to the connector, probabaly less than 2" back from the end. Take off the connector, cut the wires and put new female connectors that have blue sleeves on the new ends of wire, and slide those on over the two connector tabs down inside the coil connector on the coil. Try it then, it'll probabaly have power.

I meant the inner fender/ strut tower, where the top of the shock bolts to.

The connector actually broke when I was changing out the coil, the red and the green wires are directly attatched to the prongs on the coil. I probed the wire, not the coil while it was unplugged from the coil with the key turned to "on" and got no reading whatsoever.

Chase it back farther and look for a break in the wiring. A bad TFI will not cause the red/green to not have power. That wire should run around to a connector somewhere on or near the firewall, probably over near the brake booster. On a Panther its a grey connector laying right next to the cruise. Unknown on an MN12. It will be the connector over there that the fuel pump wiring and all is in, should have about a half dozen wires. Check the voltage on both sides of the connector. I'll bet either the connection there is bad, or your ignition swithc took a dump.
