I'd do a megasquirt EFI setup on a turbo car. Comes out to be cheaper than a blow through and easier to tune and install.

I got a nearly brand spankin new digital 6 box and blaster II cannister coil off ebay for ~$200. I'm positive you can find a cheap msd ignition locally or on the boards

The Duraspark II distributor and the MSD 6 BTM, or the Crane Hi-6 (preferred, although I am not sure which part # is for boosted/turbo applications) should be pretty much all you need for a basic boosted setup. Any attempt to 'go cheap' here, will result in disaster, as you really need to be able to back advance off for the turbo.
One other note? If this carb is going to be inside of a box, you are not going to be able to use the Edelbrock the way it is.
Problem 1. Brass floats implode under boosted box conditions.
Problem 2. Turbo/carbed setups require an additional fuel enrichment circuit that most carbs can't keep up with, some guys even adding a separate single fuel injector, or getting a carb with a boost-referenced power valve. The edelbrock ain't that good for boosted applications. Here is the usual scenario with stock carb on this type of induction setup: Runs lean at top end, pistons melt, end of engine.

Additional notes: You will need to get the PCV valve off of a Turbo Coupe Tbird.

          Hope this helps.

PCV valve? Who needs a PCV valve?!

            Thanks for the other info!

Barry Gant, C&S Specialities, Nickerson and a few others make or mod carbs to run pressureized or in a box. I have moded some myself in the past andd it can become very complicated depending on just how far you want to go.
Distributors before boost referanced ignition boxxes were another issue. After the dual vacuum advance distributors came they could be hooke up to retard under boost.
A diaphram fuel pump WAS EASY TO PUMP UP PRESSURE WITH BUT COULDNT BE RELIE UPON TO BE ABLE TO SUPPLY ENOUGH FUEL AT HIGHR BOOST SSYSTEMS.

The guys at pro-sytems that built my carb can make a turbo-app carb that'll work great

Buck the trend. EDIS with no distributor. Stock Ford parts, but not "year correct" parts.
